Me-Made-May: The Wrap-Up

Another Me-Made month has passed, and with just a little assistance from J Crew, Gap, H&M, and Charlotte Russe, I successfully made it 31 days wearing almost all clothing I made myself.

Whew!  Oddly, I really struggled through this month, despite that this was (I think) my 5th time to do a month-long challenge like this, and that at this point, I've been sewing for myself for almost 3 years now!  Did anyone else feel like May just wouldn't end?!  In the middle of the month, especially, I really had a hard time picking out outfits I felt like reflected my personal style rather than outfits that were just Me-Made and fit "the rules."  It's just plain easier to get dressed when I can mix my me-mades with my ready-to-wears, but then again, that's the whole point of this little challenge, isn't it?  :)  All in all, I always feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of these months, and I think this month has been my most colorful and most diverse so far, so I'm definitely still proud!  And, as I usually say:  I need to make more pants.
